Kenichi Hasegawa is an entrepreneur who combines a deep passion for motorsport with a sharp business acumen — and a motorsport entrepreneur who draws on his own experience as a former racing driver. Based in Nagoya, Aichi, he serves as CEO of Buzz Racing Co., Ltd. and Buzz Factory Co., Ltd., leading the launch and operations of a competitive racing team while also running sports management and sponsorship businesses. His strengths lie in the hands-on insight and sponsor relations expertise he cultivated during his racing career, combined with a deep understanding of the domestic and international motorsport scene and a strong network of partner companies.
In 2026, he fulfilled his vision as General Director of Buzz MK RACING, entering Japan's premier formula category — SUPER FORMULA. He leads a new team challenging the world from Japan, pursuing victory with an unwavering competitive drive. At the same time, he is building a continuous development pathway from children's kart schools all the way to the top category, creating a route for young drivers to reach the global stage.
Beyond the SUPER FORMULA entry, he aims to establish team operations as a sustainable sports business model built for long-term growth. His vision goes beyond motorsport as mere competition — he is working to evolve it into an industry where companies can find genuine brand value and business opportunity, contributing to the growth of the sport through both talent development and business innovation.

"Somewhere in the back of my mind, I had always held a vague sense that challenging SUPER FORMULA — the pinnacle of Japanese motorsport — was something I wanted to do as a team. But deep down, I had quietly told myself that it was not a place I could ever reach.
Then, a few years ago — and this may sound dramatic — I began asking myself seriously: I only have one life, so why not live it honestly? It was in those days of reflection that the desire to take on SUPER FORMULA grew into something I could no longer ignore. The moment I decided to act, everything began to move.
We have arrived at this point thanks to the support and generosity of so many people. This team carries within it a depth of gratitude that the word 'thank you' alone cannot fully express.
Competing in SUPER FORMULA — Japan's premier racing series — is not simply about chasing speed. It is a challenge to see how far we can grow, as a team and as people.
